EMERGENCY WATER SHUT OFF AND BOIL WATER ALERT

EMERGENCY
-
We are advised by the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department of a main water pipe break!
-
Water will be turned off in the entire Village from 8pm - 11:30pm this evening July 25, 2012!
-
Upon return of water service, there will be A BOIL WATER ALERT!  until further notice; possibly as long as 48 hours.
-
This applies to any water consumed; bring water to a rolling boil for one minute.
-
Watch this BLOG, and Channel 63 for any additional information.

    OR - a use for our personal new hurricane water supplies, no boiling for me.

    Thankfully, with the Blog and Channel 63, plus the heads up calls to association presidents, we had a flow of information to help prepare residents for the shut-off tonight. Thanks to Dave, Ed and others who mobilized to alert us and help minimize the impact.

    I forgot to mention Dave's Information Forward emails that also alerted people to the water shut-off: we have a sophisticated system (Blog, Ch 53, InfoForward and calls) that serves us very well. Thanks, UCO, and friends of UCO.
