SOLOMON & KARPF SUMMONS & COMPLAINT - SUTOFSKY SAYS -"THIS IS WHAT INSURANCE IS FOR"

-
Hi all,
-
Well, the Summons and Complaint regarding the frivolous $5,000,000.00 law suit has arrived, and as promised, here are links to these unconstrained fantasies of financial dreams; there are two distinct documents, one against UCO, and the other against UCO and David Israel. Simply incredible:

Ok! my opponent looks backwards and complains about paving and drainage, this is because she has NO record of accomplishments in service to UCO. No service on Committees or the Executive Board.

I look forward to great accomplishments to come, where do you want to go??

She and her supporters seem to think that Insurance payments are free money, this is not the case, as we may find out when we attempt to renew our coverage in the wake of this claim.

Return Dave Israel and my slate to Office on March 7, 2014.

  1. Here is today's words of wisdom:

"THERE WILL BE MONEY FLOWING INTO YOUR POCKETS."

You can't make this stuff up.

  2. This lawsuit is a silly mess from the morons from UCO's past.

  3. P.S. I can't imagine what lawyer worth anything (saying a lot, I know) would take a lawsuit from Solomon and Karpf.

  4. That I pay with one hand and collect with the other (being a class action suit) is an exercise never encouraged by my physiotherapist.
I am afraid to ask my proctologist ;)

  5. Hi New to CV,
    March 1, 2014 at 2:19 AM,

Do not count on the Class-Action component. Just because you ask in a complaint, does not mean that the judge will grant it.

Mr Solomon was a co-plaintiff along with Ms. Wolkenstein (running for VP) over the repair of the clubhouse after hurricanes Francis and Jean.

That suit requested Class-Action but it was never granted. The suit cost the unit owners about $600,000.00 in legal fees and engineering studies.

Insurance is NOT free money, this latest suit for $5,000,000.00 following on top of their suit for $392,000.00 may result in huge premium increases, or dropping UCO entirely.

This is what we can look forward to if Ms. Sutofsky and her supporters are elected to UCO Office.

  6. Well, in the Court of Judge Don4060, the latest lawsuit (and the first as well, for that matter) has been granted "NO-CLASS ACTION" status, and this esteemed Jurist from the smallest Juristiction on Earth (pop. 2 )has extended this condition to the Plaintiffs as well.

Big difference between the latest suits and the older one- the Frances/Jean suit was brought by sitting UCO Officers, who used CV Homeowner money to finance the ill-fated venture. Solomon/Karpf are, barring some bizzare, horrifying March 7th miracle, on their own.

Delegates beware! Electing even part of the Sutofsky Slate could easily reverse this situation. This candidate denies participation in the two suits, sidesteps direct questions over whether or not she supports the suits, then assures Homeowners that "THERE WILL BE MONEY FLOWING INTO YOUR POCKETS!!!".

Like Yogi Berra used to say, "IT'S DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN". Do not be fooled- reject the Sutofsky Slate and the slippery ethics of our sordid UCO past.

  7. All the bedbugs are coming out of the wordwork on the other blog this weekend. Even someone posted caling themselves "Dan Gladstone." Hard to know if its really him or one of the many made up names that appear there.

  8. Assuming it is the real Dan Gladstone posting on Olga's blog and the Jean Dowling's name rightfully on a list of Esther supporters shown on Olga's blog, it certainly sounds like an example of "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

For I remember well how critical Jean and Sue Cohen were of Dan a few years ago, during those years when he was in effect the Village insurance "czar"––the "go to" man if you had insurance questions. This was when Plastridge was the Village's insurance agent, there was no competition for our business, and their rates kept going through the roof. It wasn't until, through Jean's influence and the influence of Dave Israel and Toni Salometto (who replaced Dan), that other insurance agencies were brought in to compete for our business.

Brown & Brown then became the choice of the Insurance Committee to insure our buildings, and immediately our 20-26 unit associations found their annual insurance premiums REDUCED BY SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. It was a windfall for the associations.

There seem to be some strange bedfellows in the campaign to oust Dave Israel.

This beauty, was removed from the malcontent blog today.

  10. Interesting, Don4060. Apparently the opposition is slowly waking up to the fact that thy have sunk to depths that rational people see through and do not approve of. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, rein in the horses!" But not, I fear, because of conscience, but rather, because it isn't paying off.
