Looking for a Good TV Repair Service
Hi All, Does anyone know where there is a good, honest TV Repair Service around here? There use to be one on Westgate and Military, but it is now gone and I am not yet ready to give up my old television set. Thank you.
Old TVs can be fixed. I use to deal with a great tv repairman that could fix everything. But he retired and left the area. Next step will be to look in the phonebook. Just thought someone might have some firsthand experience.
The reason why most people do not bother to have it repaired is that the price of a new TV is not gigantic as when TVs first appeared on the scene. It is better to toss it into the trash. The money saved by having it not repaired is like a discount on the new set. Most TVs last five years plus. They are not very expensive as they used to be. The only expensive ones are the flatscreen ones. I recently purchased one, a 26 inch TV, at WalMart, tax and all, total price was $500. I could have purchased a regular TV for a quarter of the price, and it too would last five years plus.
Does anyone still fix TVs> I thought that all our appliances were unable to be fixed and were just throw away. Did you look in the phone book?
