BOLO - PEAFOWL
Hi all, We need all of our BLOGGERS to advise if they see any Peafowl, either the Peacock or Peahen!
If you have seen these birds either today or yesterday, please report here.
While my oven stands ready, the reason "we" need to know, is that a Trapper has assured us that they are gone, but we have one report of having seen them, but the report was not specific as to time.
So, payment depends on verification of Peafowl absquatulation.
Friends of ours who live in Windsor love the new "neighbors"..I am told their appearance more than compensates for their untidy habits & early morning chatter. Why not let nature take it's course, they will in time move on, we have had the pleasure of sand cranes, turkey hawks, baby rabbits etc. ( no rats, TG) come & go... lakeside, they ALL announce their presence ( except the rabbits) and eventually they move on.. So let's enjoy what we have... It's all temporary..

4 people saw them today in Windsor.
ReplyDeleteLets have a poll on keeping the peafowl.
Is the photo one of you, Elaine? You were (still are!) cute as a button. With an impish look, I might add....
