OPRAH
David:
For CV viewers what is the channel number for OWNTV (Oprah's new show) will we be using
in order to watch her new show.
It is official: Oprah is a business for profit. Read the following New York Post story about Oprah fans chagrined about her new cable channel being unapproachable (you will have to copy and paste the following into your browser bar):
The people who have DirectTV get to watch Oprah's new show for free. We who have Comcast have to pay per view in order to watch Oprah. Give me an exciting basketball game or my favorite football team The New England Patriots which we do not have to pay extra to watch.
They are paying $29.99 per month. As far as I known there is no deadline. I know the person who has DirectTV and lives in Jensen Beach and does not live in a gated community and left Comcast because their price went over $60.00 per month.
What in the world does CFP& D mean? CFP stands for Certified Financial Planner, but that doesn't seem to fit as Dave has used the term, and anyway it doesn't explain the "&D." Dave says Nutmegger's CFP&D is 50 and Booker's is 200, but Dave says that it has nothing to do with knowledge. I thought there was an inner circle who knew what the CFP&D rating was all about (I assume it's a rating of some sort), but now I'm thinking nobody knows. Except for our Blogmeister, of course, who lives in "The Cloud." Could he maybe help us earthbound mortals a bit with a CLUE?
(And not a clue like giving this Comment a "CFP&D=15," please!)
Hi, I think you have to order this channel in an additional package.
ReplyDeleteCall Comcast they will verify.

Hi Nut,

And what exactly are "the people who have Direct TV" paying per month and for how long?
What other channels are they getting?
There is no such thing as a free lunch!!

Hi Nut,
ReplyDeleteJanuary 4, 2011 9:42 PM,
As you know very well, these are short term teaser rates to get you hooked; at which time they revert to "regular rates"
When you have some facts please present them.

I get it on 103
