Pick Axe
Dear delightful readers, does anyone have a pick axe that my assoc could borrow?
Or suggestions, other than buying one, for a small grass removal job. TIA
A brief summary from Wikipedia: Thesmophoriazusae is now considered one of Aristophanes' most brilliant parodies of Athenian society, with a particular focus on the subversive role of women in a male-dominated society.
Elaine, you may borrow mine. It can be used as a pick axe or mattock (exchangeable ends). Just call me re good time to bring to you.
ReplyDeleteThe blog is a wondrous thing, and a money saver too. Thx Lanny

ReplyDeleteHi Lanny,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the copy of the The
Thesmophoriazusae, received today.
While the English translation is excellent, the play is best read in the original Greek!

Glad you are enjoying it, Dave. I forgot to mention the book report that will be expected from you within two weeks—not a problem, I trust?
