ADDING A 'SISTER" BLOG OF 100
Thanks for adding this "sister blog" to your original one, Dave. This should help, and perhaps quiet some of the complaints that new folk have been shut out.
I just tried to comment on the Sister Blog but was not allowed to. Is this because one can only be signed up for one blog? If so, it seems this presents a problem. How deal with this, O Blogmeister? I'm not too familiar with daisy chains. We were playing baseball while the girls were making daisy chains, as I recall.
Curious, why not dump BLOGGER and use Wordpress? There are many hosts starting at about $4/month (for everyone, not each) and I don't think there is a limit on the number of users.
When I made the BLOG circa 2007, I looked at Wordpress, GoDaddy, and even considered doing my own HTML creation which would have required thousands of lines of code.
I settled on BLOGGER due to the great flexibility and relative simplicity for both myself and the user. If this "daisy chain" idea does not work out, perhaps I will reconsider.
Would you like an invitation to the Part-two BLOG?
I think most of the mainstream bloggers are in the Part 1 blog. I understand the constraint and the limited time you have and guess we just have to live with this for now.
Sort of a phase 1 wi fi - isn't perfect, but it is OK for the nonce. BTW, I think you are doing a great job - If I weren't in Boot Key on a boat, I'd be there helping you.
Hi Lanny,
ReplyDeleteThe beauty of this approach is that it can be daisy chained indefinitely.
I think it will work, but only time will tell.

ReplyDeleteHi Lanny,
ReplyDeleteSeptember 18, 2013 at 5:15 PM,
It would be nice, if BLOGGER allowed an unlimited number of Members on BLOGS, but they only allow 100.
So, If all members of BLOG part 1 were also members of BLOG part 2, what would I have accomplished, nothing.
BLOG part 2 allows us to have another 100 members on part 2.
One should consider parts 1 & 2 as one continuous CV Blogosphere.

Lanny, if the topic you want is on the other side of 'the wall' you can copy the topic on your side.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I understand. I may do just what you suggest, Elaine.
