Thanks for posting this link Dave. People should go to the web site to see what CV Pembroke Pines is really like, as the other malcontent blogs have AGAIN printed misstatements and incorrect information--not that the truth ever matters to them.
Their entire operation is different to ours...the community is run by 2 distinct Mgt.firms (owned by the Levy family) w/a Bd of Director's,consisting of 20? representatives from the complexes within, according to a friend who is an owner...As for their pricing of Tickets...apparently they on a monthly basis contribute $1.00 or $2.00 towards the entertainment cost thereby reducing the price of the tickets..in addition they have set in place a program, whereby should you purchase multiple tickets in advance you will receive 1 free one. I don't recall the amount, in order to quality for that incentive, but there is always the possibility of exploring this for the future.
I should like to see it"revisited" Unfortunately, the majority of the Ops committee, do NOT support the Theatre amongst other things and decisions such as this are left in their hands...perhaps it's time for some NEW fresh Faces! Thank you Dave Bettie
I agree with Bettie. I attend most Operations Committee meetings and the majority of them DON'T even come to the shows. I still don't understand how the Pembroke Pines operation works! Sounds very confusing. I just spent over $200 for the coming season and would have loved being able to save a dollar or two!

ReplyDeleteI think ads are a great idea. I'm curious as to why show tickets are a little cheaper than ours as well as guest fees.

Hi BettieL,
ReplyDeleteAugust 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM,
Yes, this idea of the entire Village subsidizing the entertainment package comes up every year, and has been rejected by the Operations Committee.
It can always be brought up again!
