We are looking forward to relocating to South Florida and I don't think finding a job will be to difficult (I already have a Florida license). The laws here in Nevada are the most stingent in the nation in regards to a managers behavior. A few Management Companies along with Judges, the Police Department, HOA Attorneys and Contractors have alledgly bilked millions from innocent local homeowners. It's a mess here and a new start will be like a breath of fresh air.

Regards

- Joejmitalyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05948029213328738831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6392307124116993389.post-36019649710591867062011-10-17T17:44:38.947-04:002011-10-17T17:44:38.947-04:00JMITALY,

Each year, we take one of the issues and devote it to an overview of the new laws. This publication is sent to each of our clients.
MarkMark D. My question was directed to the law firm. It's nice to have an updated hard copy binded booklet that deals specifically with Florida HOA law.jmitalyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05948029213328738831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6392307124116993389.post-38334252754450032432011-10-12T17:37:36.294-04:002011-10-12T17:37:36.294-04:00Hi jmitaly,

I simply asked if the local law firms that work with association law provide any of the local community managers with an updated booklet containing the Florida HOA laws, including the latest revisons. In Nevada it's a normal practice but most of the locals lawyers are also defect litigators so it is a marketing tool but still excellent swag for us CMs.jmitalyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05948029213328738831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6392307124116993389.post-72441997702026948542011-10-05T13:51:33.935-04:002011-10-05T13:51:33.935-04:00Hi Mark,

Such election procedures may only be used with Associations that have ten or less units, as per Section 718.112(2)(d)(8). Therefore statutory election procedures are required to be used.Randallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05273899767108770352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6392307124116993389.post-68482955255234727392011-10-05T11:18:01.711-04:002011-10-05T11:18:01.711-04:00The agenda is included in the second notice of the...The agenda is included in the second notice of the annual meeting.Mark D.
