Admin. Resignation
Hi All,
It is with deep regret that I announce the resignation of Ken Davis from our Web Site Administrators team.
I met Ken Davis in 1999 over the phone. He was the first person that gave me sensible answers about our Village. I called Century Village to ask some information about living there. The first big problem was they would be closed on Friday morning. They did not give out their schedule as to when they would be open. At last, I got to speak to Ken, and he started to tell me about the hours. I said, you only work three hours a day? They shut the office after that? What kind of company is this? He then explained to me that he was a volunteer and that everyone else was also, so you had to call 9:00 am from Monday to Thursday, Friday would be 12:00 to 4:00; Saturday to Sunday, there is no one there.
I then started to ask him the various questions I needed to decide whether or not I should get involved with such a irresponsible group. He cleared every question I asked, gave me advice, and we decided to buy an apartment. He stood out front to me. He did not try to embellish the Village. He told me enough that I decided it would be a nice place to live. I thank you, Ken, and wish you a long and happy retirement.
Ken:
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the great
years you have given to Century
Village. Relax and enjoy your
golden years.
Ken,
ReplyDeleteYour pleasant demeanor, hard work, and devotion to UCO over the years, will long be remembered.
