Reminder
The Comcast cable box in your unit remains the property of Comcast. Don't believe me? Ask UCO. If you move out of CV, bring the box to the UCO office. It won't work in your new location.
Booker, Since the box must be signed off on by the tenant or owner, it is their responsibility to return the box to comcast should their lease not be renewed (if lessee signed for it) or the owner sells the unit. Why would you advise individuals to return the box to UCO? Where did you get your information from?

Hi all,
ReplyDeleteYou may return a Converter box by way of the equipment drop box in front of UCO. This approach is less than satisfying, because, no receipt is issued.
You may bring the box you wish to return to 1401 Northpoint Parkway, WPB FL. Comcast will issue a receipt on the spot.
You may call Comcast to have them send a technician to pick up the box, this will cost you a "truck roll" fee of as much as $40.00.
Those are the options!
