Waltham H
That red railing paint must be a primer? Certainly the collective wisdom of your board and the business judgement rule would prevent the community eye sore from becoming a permanent fixture in the village?
'Scuse my insertion of photo. even this does not capture the super shine A couple of residents who had not been consulted on colors assured me that the red was the final paint. At least this building is easy to find. Tho'pale earth colors sell better - the blue and green buildings tried colors and changed back.
Someone apparently thought this was beautiful. I was of the understanding that this type of a change to a common area needs the majority of all residents living there approval and not that of few residents. Am I wrong? What can be done with this eyesore? When the village started going with colors, i felt having a templet of approved colors would prevent this type poor choice.
Eyesore? Your committee been looking for "The Condo Building Paint Job that Makes a Difference" for three years, I believe, Elaine. This should get first prize. Did you notice the nice touch in painting the railing blue? I've got to hustle over to Waltham H to see this for myself. Will you be awarding the prize sometime soon? Let us know the date, please.
The Business Judgment Rule is a legal presumption that provides that so long as a director or officer of a company is disinterested, has acted on an informed basis, in good faith, and with an honest belief that the action taken was in the best interests of the company, the decisions made are not subject to challenge.
Best interest of the homeowners at Waltham ..... or perhaps color blind?
I thought it was just a holiday decoration. Don't tell me its permanent?!?
