JOINT BROADBAND & CABLE COMMITTEE MEETING - APRIL 12, 2017 - LIVE IN CYBERSPACE
After watching this meeting, I agree with Joy, Do not put this vote off any longer. Comcast has had their chance to make an offer that is up to par with Atlantic Broadband and has failed miserably. Next Delegate meeting, vote and get it over with. If the delegates want to pay more, let them go with Comcast. If their intent is to save some money and get more services for the price (and no truck roll fees) then vote for Atlantic Broadband. Simple as that. Making AB wait only locks us into Comcast and puts us at their mercy, and you won't much of that.
Well said, Bob. There is the slight risk, which some cite, of AB not making it in time, but now they have agreed, if they run late, to reimburse us the difference between the CC charge (probably retail) and what AB would have charged. And I like going with the "little guy" and giving him a chance to make good. A little risk in life is a healthy thing. You say it well re the delegates' choice.
