Airbnb Renting by a tenant.

Hi David, you mentioned that there is a possibility that a renter in the Village might be renting his apt. out on Airbnb.  I wonder if the owner has been contacted about it?  I ask because I just read
an article about Toronto condo owners who had no idea this was going on.  It could be possible
that the owner does not know, and if advised will seek to evict his "tenant."

    Hi Roz,
    Thus far, we have detected two units that were offered on Airbnb.
    both have been withdrawn from that site.

    UCO will try to develop a small team to scan some of the sites involved in this business, and advise the Boards of the Associations involved.

    It is up to the Association to take action on such unauthorized conduct of business in their buildings.
