After the June 6, 2014 Delegate Assembly, I pulled up a copy of Robert's Rules of Order:
It is 400 pages long, and guess what; there is not one mention of "Good and Welfare". The last 3 minutes of the video is extracted below, and is anything but good or in our unit owners welfare. The performance speaks for itself, as the "star" attempts to explain a law suit brought by two other Residents. Olga of course is not an Attorney, nor is she a plaintiff in the litigation.
Hence, she was clearly out of order, good or otherwise.

Robert's Rules speaks of something called "for the good of the order" as follows:
-
"Some organizations take time right before
adjournment for the “good of the order.” This segment allows members to give suggestions
for improvement or to give compliments concerning the work of the organization.
Usually business is not brought up during this portion of the meeting. Any
ideas for new business that come from this segment are brought up at another
meeting. However, if something urgent is brought to the attention of the
members, a member can present it as a main motion during this segment. Until
someone moves to adjourn the meeting, members can bring forward business."

Note that there is nothing about playing Attorney and ranting about other peoples lawsuits, nor, a single word about blatantly slandering the Chair. In case you missed the show, following is the last 3 minutes of the performance:

Since Olga likes to pontificate on other peoples lawsuits, what would she have to say about the lawsuit that is clearly justified by her public slander upon me in this video??? Don you are right, "you can't make this stuff up"

That would be speaking their language...
ReplyDeleteIf memory serves me right, sheriff's deputies were hired after Dan Gladstone's rant at a delegates meeting a couple of years ago. He went on and on and refused to move or stop talking even when Village security came. He taunted them, saying they could not legally touch him. Afterward, Olga, Esther & Co. said hiring the deputies was an overreaction. Well, ironically now Olga has HERSELF SHOWN why it was no overreaction, but rather the only thing Dave could do to maintain order.
ReplyDeleteThe chairman has a responsibility to all the delegates to try to maintain order, and hiring sheriff's deputies is the exact right step Dave should now take, I think. Of course it will cost a few bucks, and we know who to blame for this: NOT Dave but the disorderly one herself.
Someone should put a muzzle on Olga--preferably through a lawsuit for slander.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get any better than this, what a sideshow! Could Olga be possessed by BAAL ??????????
