On Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., outside CV (between City Mattress and City Furniture), is a thrift store, Garage Sale Depot. Among the items on sale are a refrigerator with a door-set ice/water dispenser (only $100), ergonomic PC keyboard, Dockers men's shorts (sizes in the 30s), Armani suits (ladies'), and the game "Mystery Date," High School Musical edition (basketball hero Troy is the dream; drama teacher Ms. Darbus is the dud).

doctor who is devoting all his
time to The Garage Sale Depot.
The majority of the profits he is
donating to the Heart Association,
Cancer Foundation and others.

Guess I was the only one not terribly impressed. I think the Salvation Army and Hospice have much nicer things and the price is right.
ReplyDeleteSurprise! My friend and I went to Garage depot this Sat at 7:30a/m - store does not open until 9am on Sat ---hrs incorrectly listed in several spots on the 'net and also on the front door!
