As of this Posting, there are some 500 tickets remaining for the Golf Course Town Hall Meeting.

The meeting is in the Clubhouse Theater, scheduled for 15 October, 2009 at 2:00PM.

There will be presentations by the Golf Course owners and by the Pro-Active not-for-profit Corporation to save our Golf Course. Following the presentations, there will be Q & A by our unit owners.

It is my understanding, some members of the pro actve committee were an embarrassment to all of CV.

It was an absolute travesty, their shrieking and yelling caused the Waldman contingent to flee the stage.
It would seem to me, that you can disagree with someone, but still be civil.

I'm new to CV but seems tempers run high with such issues as presented and did anyone expect other than what transpired at the meeting? Certainly one could hope for civility and rational dialogue but perhaps the many months of rumor and innuendo and past history of possible developement of the golf course contributed to the heated exchanges. I left when the Q and A from the audience turned into people from the audience delivering their personal monologues. ( that was 3:45p) so don't know what happened after that.
