Looking for a good plumber

Can anyone recommend a good licensed plumber that does work here in CV. I just bought a new toilet that I need to have installed. Because I have people living below me, I want to make sure to get someone that will do a good job.

Thanks in advance for any information anyone has to offer.

  1. When we first moved in to CV, we found in both our bathrooms 13 inch high toilets. Oy vey! Try to get up when you are tired from 13 inches! We went to Home Depot and saw the different sizes. Seventeen inches high was called the comfort height. Then we called Victor Torres (cel 373-9657). He took care of the entire problem. He went to Home Depot, carried the two toilets home to us, plus the seats, installed both of them for about 300 dollars apiece. Keep in mind, that was a good number of years ago. He is still installing toilets here in Century Village. Give him a buzz. You will not regret it.

  2. Thank you Pressman for the information. I will check with him.

  3. I would delve into the yellow pages, substantial companies, price by the job, senior discount. Check our own PBC PZB / Contractor Information / license numbers. Clicking on the number shows their insurance status, bond, and WC.

  4. Charles Haley (like the comet) is licensed and insured and the best all around experienced tradesman in the world. Give him a call at 516-314-1719. He has very reasonable rates and even cleans up after he done. What else could you ask for? Tell him Mariel recommended him.

  6. Thank you. You will not be disappointed with Charles. He lives up to his last name: Comet & such a nice down to earth guy as well. Good luck with your plumbling. Mariel
