Now is the time: capitalize on awareness

I agree with Mike's 1st Priority post below - 100%. At this point, the mess needs to be mopped up, any illegal actions vigorously pursued, and residents harmed must be assisted. Until such time, the shadow cast by the actions of a few will stain UCO’s good image and continue to blemish its reputation. To that end, every effort must be taken to correct the damage caused by a few self-serving operatives.
By the way, the 1st Priority mess has created an awareness that should be capitalized on. The new UCO team needs to keep pushing forward with development of internal policies to prevent another 1st Priority debacle from happening again. Under no circumstances should there be any exclusive "my system" arrangements made. Likewise, any reference or referral by UCO to 1st Priority should be eliminated, and Mr. Gladstone must be encouraged move on. He had his chance and he blew it.
I look forward to this new era. As I mentioned in another response, this has been the most spirited season of any I’ve seen since arriving in the village in 1984.
On a personal note, congratulations to Mr. Israel on his election to UCO president. The numbers show a pretty divided village so, Mr. Israel, you’ll have your work cut out for you. As you move forward, remember these few simple principles: 1) “surround yourself with people smarter than you” – George Steinbrenner, 2) “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” – Michael Corleone, and 3) “Only the Paranoid Survive” – Andy Grove.

Best regards,

  1. Lenny:

You hit the nail right on the head.
I have known David since the day
of his puzzles which he created
    and designed them every week
and made sure they were not easy.
We went head to head as to who
was going to win every week.
David is a very brilliant and
determined person who I know will turn CV into a very respected
    complex that people will want
    to live here.

  2. Hey Lenny,
#1 is gonna be tough. And, regarding #3, remember what happened with President Nixon's paranoia... Watergate, resignation in the face of impeachment, etc.
    Dave will do just fine.

  3. Randall,

Okay, you're right. So with #3 in mind we'll add an important caveat, everything in moderation...

  4. Lenny,
I agree. But, just because you're NOT paranoid, it still doesn't mean they're not out to get you!
