    Did you mean:

    cheep- "to utter a feeble shrill sound as of a bird newly hatched", or

    cheap- "at minimum expense"?

    I mean as in the cover of Mad Magazine displaying its price, no matter how expensive it gets, as (cheap). Cannot wait to see them make the same claim for the special 3D issue.
