Can anyone update us on the status of the First Priority fiasco?
Still seeing their trucks in the Village. Any news ?
Thanks for any info.

  1. We have seen a very dramatic drop in new victimizations by 1s Priority. None has been reported to me since March. Our efforts to get the word out have definitely paid off, thanks to you all.

Unfortunately, the story of our plight didn't get out to other South Florida communities. Thanks Dot. I received another call for help last week from a victim of 1st Priority. However, it was from a victim that lives in a condo assn in Delray.

Gosh, maybe if they had been able to read the remaining two parts of the article I wrote in The Condo News so others could be forewarned about what happened to us, the same article Dot Lowenstein called the editor about complaining that it was all lies, resulting in the cancellation of the remaining two parts of the article under threat of a lawsuit, then that victim in Delray might have been spared. What a shame....

I highly urge anyone who has seen 1st Priority trucks or vehicles in the village to follow them to see what address they go to and let me know - 561-202-8460. I too have seen and followed them. They have gone to locations where repairs were already ongoing. We need all of our residents, like yourself, to be vigilent, observant and to notify us of 1st Priority's presence in the village whenever you see them. If we know where they are, we can warn those owners and associations of their tactics. The owner or association has three days to cancel any contract without cause. We want to get to them before the three days has elapsed or before 1st Priority can do any unnecessary damage to their home. UCO may not be able to keep them out of CV, but we can...

Again, if you see or hear of anyone who has just been contacted by 1st Priority, call me right away. I'll check with the assn president to see if this is a new claim and explain how they can avoid becoming a victim.

  2. Hi DigtlXray,
    June 25, 2010 2:08 AM,

One important point, UCO cannot bar entrance through our gates to anyone whom a Unit Owner calls in as guests; this includes contractors.

I sincerely doubt that any of our residents would desire to cede such power to UCO!

Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it!
