Naturist Inaugural Swim

It is my understanding that the first Naturist swim scheduled for 8AM Monday 8/9/10 has been postponed until September . The Naturists feel they should have 2000 signatures on their petition, before having the big SWIM

  3. Hi Dave , I have no idea, I'm just reporting on what I hear from an English lady friend who has become an enthusiast of Naturism. I have to lose a lot of weight to be a naturist though.

  4. Mike - What a croc!
Suggest you go back to Ch63 to use up some of your surplus energy.
Why are many of the Ch63 color pages still in 2009, are we time travelers? I thought those hard working vols were notified already.

  6. I used to skinny dip at Lake Miniwaska, in the catskills of New York. Of course this was acceptable, as was almost everything in the '60s.
If people are really serious about this freedom of expression, it would need to be clearly posted and maybe held once a month at the indoor clubhouse pool, and in the evening. Great care must be taken not to offend others who are not likeminded.
To answer your question Dave, I guess the Operations Committee would need to place the item on the agenda,
after of course exploring the legal implications of accommodating such an activity. Such a petition could be sent to you and cc: to Anita Cruz.

  7. Maybe these people should find a lake or a welcome nudist camp to go swim in. These are common area pools and this is not acceptable. Maybe these people are living in the wrong community. Why would we even consider such a thing, I'm a firm believe of rights..but in there proper place......But, then it might be good for real estate sales Ha!Ha!

  9. Are you people in CV that bored that you waste time even talking and writing about this crap. You might know that the snow birds are up north as they would not allow this kind of talk. Are you all that ashamed of CV and you want to destroy it alltogether. I purchased a condo in CV and was proud and loved what I purchased and I will continue to do so because this will not, HAPPEN!!! Get a life,do something constructive, think of something that will improve our CV and STOP writing such foolishness. If that Lady from England wants a Naturist place to go to, I suggest she goes back to England. Dave put a stop to this!!!!

  11. Mike:
Have you consented to be their
    "Official" spokesperson? Your posts
are the only ones that reflect
the location,(outdoor clubhouse pool)however, you have NEVER mentioned the day or days of the
week, time of day, which pool(heated or cold-br-r-r-r-)this group congregates at...Surely,you
could be more explicit, or are
    you attempting an ASKTON KUTCHER
    (SPOOFING)

  12. Hi Bettie, I'm just passing along info I have gleaned from casual converstions at the clubhouse pool and when I signed the naturist petition. I have no personal knowledge of the scope or intent of said Naturist activities. Am I pro Naturist? YES!!!!!!!

  13. A few months back I was in the Hastings sauna(in my 'birthday suit')
and this female employee was cleaning the sinks. She looked at me and I looked at her, and I felt, well, violated. If she was cleaning the sinks naked as well, I don't know if it would have evened out the playing field, so to speak. I for one have become more private with age, but if enough people are interested, I see no reason for the possibility to at least be explored. This is private property, but the pools are considered 'public' under code. It is an interesting legal question, if nothing else.
