  2. Hi Elaine,
    September 22, 2010 12:34 PM,

The Operations Committee is a creation of the Millenium Amendment to the Long Term Lease; I recommend that all unit owners read the Millenium Amendment.

The Committee consists of all of the Officers of UCO, representitives of WPRF, Inc. and other unit owners appointed by the President of UCO.

Fridays agenda is to review the proposed WPRF budget for 2011, in advance of the regularly scheduled Committee meeting. The review will be line by line of all proposed projects.

We are discussing some $3,000,000.00 per year in Operational Rent; that's your money and mine; over and above the base rent of some $6,000,000.00, that is the agenda!

  3. People are keeling over apoplectic all over the village. “How much could we have bought the clubhouses for once upon a time, and instead we pay $6M/yr rent + expenses?”
Is that what happens when the oldest people are in charge – no green bananas for them!

  4. UCO would probably end up with the same Millenium agreement we have now,if Mr Levy had negotiated with himself. 120 + million in rent cleaned and pressed,ya gotta love a guy who takes no prisoners.
    Levy for US President.

  5. Hi Mike,
    September 22, 2010 9:23 PM,

Not really Mike, we would be under the original Long Term Lease, sans the Amendment!

You may read the orignal LTL in your documents.

You may read the Millennium amendment at Book: 11660 Page: 1550
at the Official Records Search site.

The original plan was "Cost plus 3%"

Well, now we have all this "control", and the costs that go with it!

  7. I think we turned down purchasing the golf course once or twice in the past too. CV was billed as the "inexpensive" way to retire in FL--just rent the ammenities and have no worries.
