I like your photo. I feel the same way about no cats. My husband and I have always had a pet and miss that here in the village as our association wants no pets. I can see why you don't want the larger dogs in such small condos as it isn't fair to them but a cat or a small dog is such a companion especially for those who are living by themselves.
ReplyDeleteI am an animal lover. At one time I had 4 cats and a dog. I knew that when I moved into CV I would not be able to have a pet. Older people are not always able to clean up after their dogs. I see people walking on the perimeter (against the rules)without a plastic bag in their hand. I think some Associations are so desperate to sell or rent that they are allowing unit owners to have dogs.
ReplyDeleteI ride around the village as a C.O.P. and at other times when not patrolling I find many men & women and sometimes even guests of residents walking their dogs and not cleaning up after them. By the time you call security they are back on their own buildings grounds. Maybe we need some type of inforcement. I'm so happy that we can't have any pets in our building.
