CREDIT ON F.P.L. BILL
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE SENIOR SERVICES PICKED MAY 2, 2013 AS TO THE
DATE TO GO TO THE CLUBHOUSE AND BRING WITH THEM ALL THAT THEY ASKED
FOR. MOST UNIT OWNER GOT THER FPL BILL IN YESTERDAY'S MAIL WHICH IS
THEIR BILL FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL WHICH IS ONE OF THE LOWEST FPL BILL
THAT WE GET FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL. MY QUESTION TO YOU IS WHY DID YOU
PICK MAY 2ND AS THE DATE. MOST UNIT OWNERS AT CV AGREE WITH ME AND
WE ALL FEEL THAT THE SENIOR SERVICES SHOULD HAVE PICKED A DATE EITHER
THE MONTH OF JUNE OR JULY. I PREDICT THAT THE UNIT OWNERS WHO GO ON
MAY 2ND THAT VERY FEW UNIT OWNERS WILL QUALIFY TO RECEIVE CREDIT ON
THEIR F.P. & L. BILL.

Senior Services only require you to bring your latest FPL Bill so they can access your account online. After averaging the last 12months worth of bills, they will determine if you qualify or not.
ReplyDeleteFPL has your bills and usage going back month by month for as long as you have had an account. Very likely they are only using your paper bill as proof of identity, then they figure out your rebate based on your past usage and whatever else they ask you.
ReplyDeleteWhat the above two commenters
ReplyDeletesaid that never entered my mind
but I thank both of you and I am
sure that you are both on the
right track and I thank you
very much.
Hi all,
ReplyDeleteThere is more to qualification than you might think,
Please talk to VP Phyllis Richland, there are issues of income, stop guessing and get the facts.

You mean from the guy that sits at the Clubhouse pool wearing the Happy Fisherman Tshirt, right?
ReplyDeleteyour fp&l bill shows you are a customer and your address. the proof of eligability is all the income proof that you are required to bring with you. please make sure all proofs are photocopied. they may remain with your applicatiion.also important is a valid florida i.d.

ReplyDeleteIs income based on ALL income, or just SS which everyone was asked to bring to show that income is no more than $17,235? I don't recall seeing a request for a tax return.
ReplyDeleteas long as all your income does not exceed 17,235.00 you are ok. if you do have a job bring pay stubs
ReplyDeleteThat clarifies it. If it were only SS income, jut about the whole Village would qualify.
