Dinner Time

    Has the "Do Not Feed Wildlife" sign been recently placed? If so, thank you. If not, we could probably use some more at the other "bridges throughout CV." Well meaning, but misinformed residents feed table scraps, processed bread and who knows what else to our natural species of birds. They are killing these beautiful animals with perceived kindness.

    Tell me about it. I constantly tell these people that they are doing more harm than good to the wild life. They feel they are helping them by feeding them. It's just making the animals depend on us for food and that is not nature's way. When we first moved here, I saw someone feeding the turtles and alligators by the bridge near Stratford. These people are really stupid and have no idea what could happen when these dangerous alligators look for more food on land.
