Wish I could go to ask about XFINITY Home Security System, but no time - will have to look online.
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteJuly 30, 2013 at 6:28 PM,
What will you be doing, nuclear non-proliferation, re-writing the treaty of Versailles; ending world hunger....Etc.

I would have said I was out-of-town except there may be a burglar listening. Note, I have no booze or valuables, and several alert renters!
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Classroom C, with Comcast. They took my complaint and said someone would be out here in a short time, today!. They have their own trucks in CV today to get problems resolved.
ReplyDeleteelaineb: you need to call the office for Home Security, the comcast people here today have nothing to do with it.
I have not seen or heard from Comcast yet. I guess they have fooled me again
ReplyDeleteCOMCAST JUST LEFT. They still did not get the iPad and internet xfinity app to work on my cable box.
ReplyDeleteBut they did show up.
Thank you Clarence, I wondered if the Xfinity security could be adapted for a building rather than a single unit. Dream on Huh!
ReplyDeleteClarence, I dont think that the Xfinity app is tied to your set top box. I downloaded the app and my wife called Comcast for an authorization code and the thing turned right on. And we did this from NY using our CV account number.
ReplyDeleteDon
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing with your xfinity app? I am trying to record from the internet to my dvr and change channels. If you go to the xfinity app and channel guide, you should be able to click on a program to record it or change the channel on your dvr.
No, I am just using the app to watch our Florida cable channels on IPads in NY.
