SAY NO TO SYRIA!
Hi folks ,
I just sent an E -Mail to My US Senator and My US Congressman urging them to vote no on attacking Syria . America has spent enough treasure and lives on the politician's Vietnam , Iraq and Afghan Wars. Spend our tax dollars on putting people back to work and taking care of the vets who have had their lives and their families destroyed by these wars to enrich the Military Industrial Complex . The Middle East is not our responsibility, the American middle class is hanging on by a thread and these loony politicians want to get America in another war. If They vote yes on Syria , vote them out of office in their next election. I'm so disgusted with the whole lot of them.
Tell them Enough!

how dare this predident even think of going into another country when he has cut the military to the bare bones. what will our young men and women fight in? all the clinkers that were sold? what kind of protection can they be given if our one and only real ally,England, won't help? please, make your voice heard. write,call,e-mail, scream if need be but say something.

Phyllis, nobody is going into Syria. Cruise missiles are going into Syria, launched from ships and submarines in the Mediterranean Sea. The sailors pushing the launch buttons are safer than we are. Nobody on a sub gets threatened with a lawsuit, or gets called a Nazi, or has to jump out of the way of a madman on a scooter who is trying to get from one side of the Delegate Assembly to the other.
ReplyDeleteBoth sides in this conflict hate our guts, and hate Israel worse, so as long as the missiles land IN Syria, win win for us.
At any rate, this thing has very little to do with Syria. It is mostly about showing Russia and China who is still the boss. Geopolitical stuff.
I'm afraid too, Phyllis. Here's a link that tries to explain what is going on:

I hope & pray we will not get pulled in another military engagement. The U.S. needs to take care of challenges at home before wasting resourses elsewhere.
How about That Congressman Deutch voting to attack Syria , glad he isn't my congressman. Say no to war with Syria
