EXECUTIVE BOARD SAVES WI-FI BY WIDE MARGIN - RESTORES $3.00 PER MONTH PER UNIT TO UCO 2014 BUDGET

-
-
Hi all,
With extended and spirited debate, our Executive Board restored the funding for Wi-Fi, which had been previously removed by the Finance Committee. The vote was 16 for restoring funding and 5 opposed.
-
This battle is not over, as a small dedicated group of "the usual suspects" will attempt to remove it at Delegate Assembly.
-
All Delegates should plan on attending and vote your will to ensure that Wi-Fi becomes a reality. A Delegate should move to "accept the budget as presented" this will preclude hours of disruptive debate which will be attempted to crash the meeting and prevent a vote.
-
Let's not emulate the nonsense in progress at the Federal level, show up, and vote to approve the budget and fund Wi-Fi!

  2. Hi Clarence,
    September 30, 2013 at 10:01 PM,

I remember only two, Dorothy Tetro and VP Richland.

Perhaps Pat my Admin., will have the full record recorded in her minutes.

  3. Great news to hear this early in the morning. Cheers to the executive members who voted *yes* to WIFI.

  4. Well Dorothy Tetro doesn't even live in the village and Phyllis Richland needs to move on. Do not vote to reelect her when her term is up.

  5. Yes! We need Wi-Fi to say Goodbye to Comcast. Their so-called "high speed" Internet has disintegrated to slower than dial-up. Yet they raise their prices by $5.00 every year. Goodbye and good riddance.
