The French Connection

-
More than 300 French speaking residents of CV and members of ''Le Cercle des Bons Amis'' gathered in the Clubhouse this morning for our autumn get together. About 300 more are due to arrive between now and early January. 33 sub-goups were formed identifying sporting and cultural activities that meet the needs and interests of members. ''Le Cercle des Bons Amis'' celebrates it's 15th  anniversary this year. A full report of today's event will be published in the January issue of the UCO Reporter.

  3. Hello Nutmegger and Elaine. Le Cercle des Bons Amis was created to serve the needs of the French speaking residents of CV. Our summer and autumn meetings are held in French. Our documents are also un French.
Among our activities we have language courses in English and starting in January, Diane Leclerc (561-223-3634) will give French courses. The cost of the annual membership is $8.00. Raymond Marquis ( 561-697-6853) will be happy to welcome you as members. Immersion is the best way to learn a language and some of our activities require little language skills ( i.e. billiard, tennis etc)
