WHY WI-FI

-

My opponent and her supporters have thrown up every roadblock to Wi-Fi, whether I get elected or not, don't let them get away with it.

Say yes to Wi-Fi, and look for UCO to launch the CYBER-SENIORS program.

  1. I thought the delegates voted for WIFI. I thought we were waiting for a good estimate. Am I wrong????

  2. I thought it was said and done at a Delegates Meeting sometime ago. Let's get the ball rolling and get the estimates to look at by the committee. WIFI is needed in the village. I thought it would be up and running by now. The heck with the MALCONTENTS. They can't impede progress, they have in the past

  3. Members of the opposition group, including a UCO VP and outgoing Treasurer, blocked progress on the WiFi Project last Fall.

A past UCO President, also a member of the opposition group, advocated a Village Wifi Subscription Service that would cost users twenty or thirty dollars a month rather than the two or three dollars currently planned for by the current Administration.

The opposition candidate for UCO President advocates a building by building approach to WiFi service, a far cry from a Village-wide WiFi Campus that a majority of CV Homeowners are strongly in favor of. Her claims of technical impossibility, astronomic capital expense and low service quality have been proven wrong by the new WiFi Service at the WPRF Pools, where the new amenity not only performs well for poolside users, but also provides service to Homeowners in adjacent buildings. I use this service every day, for email, free Internet phone calls, streamed movies and live TV and Radio. IT WORKS.

The opposition strategy at this time appears to be to pack the Executive Board with persons who will continue to obstruct, delay and, most importantly, keep the WiFi Project out of the Delegate Assembly, where there is clear, proven majority support for the new amenity. There is also a campaign of gross misinformation being waged by the opposition group to discredit the Project.

If you are a Delegate, and you want WiFi, along with the convienience and significant savings that the new amenity will provide, please reject the Sutofsky Slate in its' entirety. Vote the Israel Slate, and allow this UCO Administration to carry out your express wishes. You voted for this Amenity, more than once. You are already paying two dollars a month for Wifi now. Don't let it be taken away from you.

  4. There was a time when the banner at the top of the opposition blog declared We Are Against Wi-Fi [period]. It didn't take too long before the "antis" realized their strong stance against Wi-Fi was running against the current of opinion in the Village, so they changed the banner to read "We Are Against the Rush to Judgment on Wi-Fi" or something similar. Now, as the popularity of Wi-Fi has increased even more, we find Wi-Fi is not even mentioned in the banner. "Dump Dave," their core issue, of course remains.

In fact we now find these Johnny-come-latelies are going out of their way to PRAISE Wi-Fi. Of course. They realize they are behind the curve and the people, including renters and real estate agents, are responding favorably to what Dave Israel said months ago.

So anxious are they to now show how they LIKE Wi-Fi, here's what I find in the Comment section of one of their recent blog posts:

I Love Wi-Fi and use it every day

Isn't this amazing? Four blog comments, all so BRIEF and all within a total of two minutes at six in the morning!

Now Gary, you wouldn't be playing games with us, would you? Has this Richard Parker been you all along? Naughty, naughty, if true! And how about Shorty and some of the others characters on your blog? I must say I've seen some pretty imaginative names. Half the names on your blog aren't characters in your new novel, are they by any chance?
