READ IT AND WEEP: Comcast sued for turning home Wi-Fi routers into public hotspots
For those who screwed up the Wi-Fi vote last week, here's what you have left us with, opt out building Wi-Fi.
Two East Bay residents are suing Comcast for plugging their home’s wireless router into what they call a power-wasting, Internet-clogging, privacy threatening network of public Wi-Fi hotspots.
The class-action suit, filed last week in U.S. District Court in San Francisco on behalf of Toyer Grear and daughter Joycelyn Harris, claims Comcast is “exploiting them for profit” by using their Pittsburg home’s router as part of a nationwide network of public hotspots.

I see the malcontents (Esther and Gary) have no clue as to how Wi Fi works--not surprised with that!
ReplyDeleteNow their pal Grossman (who claims some kind of special financial knowledge) wants to stop the budget and audit UCO--not surprised that that either!!
These folks are a train wreck that are continuing to blight CV--keeping our community with a bad reputation and our property values low.

I'm sure the elected Treasurer is quite capable of handling (I'm a CPA) Grossman.Come to think about things, has loud mouth (I'm a CPA) ever run for office?
