WATCH "MURDER IN THE CLUBHOUSE?" ON WED., APRIL 29

The Act II Community Theater presents

“Murder in the Clubhouse?”

Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
Clubhouse, Classroom C
$1.00 Admission

Don’t miss this latest production by the intrepid Act II Community Theater actors, singers and dancers. Most of the regulars who performed in “Once Upon a Time,” are back, several of them having performed in the recent Resident Show, which was such a hit.

In this play Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson are called in to investigate, and investigate they do, only more Inspector Clouseau-style if you ask me. Misunderstandings and accusations abound, interspersed with catchy song-and-dance numbers.

Was it murder, and who had motive—nobody or nearly everybody? And in the Clubhouse, no less! That gets pretty close to home!

Please note: This is a somewhat smaller production than “Once Upon a Time,” so the group is once again performing in Classroom C, and this time there is a $1 admission charge. I would recommend you get in line real early.

  1. Dear Lanny. After Saturday evening's near riot in the theatre, Murder in the Clubhouse sounds like a sad headline of things to come at CV.

  2. Not to worry, Plcruise. After the initial murder (without which there wouldn't be a show), we will have the incomparable Sherlock Holmes on hand to nip any further crime in the bud. He only LOOKS bumbling.

  3. Hi Lanny,
Holmes is clearly the wrong detective for this task.

The right person would be the close friend of Clouseau, the incomparable Professor Auguste Balls!

  4. You guys need to watch "Murder in Paradise," a BBC Channel 2 television show on Thursday evenings at 8:00. It's great. Features a rumpled, physically inept young detective who always solves the crime. As usual, the suspects are all gathered at the end, and one by one eliminated (though several have often had motive) and the real culprit revealed. And the young detective does all this WITHOUT the aid of the Delphic Oracle.
