"CALLING IN" GUESTS
-
The last two times I attempted to "call in" a guest, it did not work. I put my name, address, telephone number along with the names of the guests and dropped it off at the Okeechobee Gate. Both times, my guests were denied access since it was not put into the system. If this system does not work, then alternate means must be made available to those who do not have a "hard line" telephone.
This is unacceptable and an embarrassment to both resident and guest alike.
If the folks at the gate are incompetent or otherwise indisposed, then they should be replaced.

Hi ejs2283,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, what you did should have worked, and we will investigate with our Security Team. However, there are alternatives. Most Associations have approved Cell Phone call-in of guests, has yours? Finally we have a Web-Based guest call in system, called "gateaccess.net". First go to the ID office in the main Clubhouse, ask for your secret code. Go to the Web Site, follow the instructions and you will be able to enter your guests into our system.
By the way you can also buy show tickets at the site.
