    Lots of discussion about having a FaceBook page for the Village, while it sounds like a good idea, there are a lot of negatives that come with it. First and foremost being that as a village, we want to attract people to come and buy here. I am afraid that if the village starts a page, it will turn into something negative in the long run and instead of attracting buyer, it may have the opposite effect and it will attract the criminal element to come and attempt to take advantage of out residents. Do we really want that? It opens the village to the blog like nastiness that we have had for the past few years. Granted, it has calmed down, but remember, it is election time, and it always starts to get nasty with name calling and accusations thrown about. I would love to see an election happen without all the name calling and accusations. What the hell, I can dream can't I? .... I do have a question concerning the quorum at Delegate Assemblies... Why does the quorum change when the season starts? We still have the same amount of associations, we still have the same amount of buildings...If it is because we have an addition of the snowbirds, who handles the business of their associations when they aren't here? Business and life goes on whether they are here or not. I do not mean to be insulting to snowbirds that come here and do more than vacation here and care for what happens in the village. Many that live here year round do not want to wait for November to come around to fix a problem that needs to be done in July.
