A couple of questions about installation of Atlantic Cable

Is there any type of list of projected installation dates for each of our condo buildings? Is there a contractual date that sets forth when all installations must be completed? A more specific question relates to how does each unit owner get Atlantic to place the lines in the proper place within their unit and get the necessary "boxes" to decode the signal? Many snow birds will be away until the winter months next year. How will the individual installations be accomplished if they are absent? How will Atlantic know where to place the lines?

  1. Since a lot of the snowbirds won't be here at the appointed time, will they be able reschedule another appointment before Atlantic Broad Band takes over. Assume this is what will happen...correct?

  2. The schedule you are looking at is for the wiring to the building not to the units. In January Alantic Broadband will have meetings with the buildings and then we will have a updated schedule for each building.

  3. So, if meetings are to take place in January, where does that leave residents as it relates to "cable?" In other words, if Atlantic is only meeting with boards representing their individual building(s) in January 2019, when will each individual unit be "wired" to the source? What happens during the ensuing months if the final installation into individual units does not occur as of January 1?

  4. Hi All,
To worry now about events to occur circa June/July 2019 is an exercise in futility. The professionals involved in the conversion have successfully completed such exercises in the past. The process will go smoothly and according to planning to be developed. Please have no fear.
