Computer help - Can't open a Microsoft Word document.!
I have Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Word 2007 version. I can get to my document directory but cannot open any documents. Is there anyone who can walk me through the process to gain access to my documents? was hoping someone on the blog or Computer Club could assist. Thanks!

A big maybe. Google "Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Word 2007 version". Others have had the same problem. Look at some answers -

ReplyDeleteObserve your Word files carefully you may have two different types, .DOC and .DOCX files. The following may help.
1.A file with the DOCX file extension is a Microsoft Word Open XML Format Document file.
2.Microsoft started using DOCX files in Microsoft Word beginning in Word 2007, while earlier versions of Word use the DOC file extension.
I have no problem opening either type in Windows 10.
