Avoiding Board Member Liability.  You want to protect yourselves as Board members, but aren’t really certain how to do so.  We’ll talk about how you can protect yourself as a volunteer Board member.

Board Member Certification Class.  Up to one year prior to being elected or within 90 days of being elected or appointed to the Board the Condominium Act requires you to become certified, or to sign an affidavit that you have read your documents and will faithfully uphold them.  Since the documents can be confusing, I recommend that you enjoy our Board Certification program.  I have updated the presentation and have included all of the new Condo laws.  PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE BY PUTTING YOUR NAME ON THE LIST IN THE UCO OFFICE.

Updating Your Documents – What You Need to Know.  Many of you want to update your documents but aren’t exactly sure why.  This seminar goes through the existing documents and discusses the various issues.  We’ll go over the Declaration, Articles of Incorporation, and Bylaws.
