Fun with CV numbers.

On Friday, the Delegates approved several revised Bylaws, including one which requires one hundred (100) member signatures to initiate a bylaw amendment petition. After the Advisory and the Officers Committees, and the Executive Board have considered the petition, a vote of not less than two-thirds (2/3) of the seated delegates is required to approve the amendment.
The minimum quorum of the Assembly is 117: 2/3 (66.67%) of 117 means that 78
votes is the minimum required to affirm an amendment.
One might erroneously argue that since 100 (signatures) is 22 greater than 78 (votes), initiating an amendment is harder than passing it.
But,
100 of 7854 (total condominiums) is 1.27%
So, the 66.67% to pass is actually 52.5 times the 1.27% to initiate.

ps. There would have to be 150 seated delegates to require 100 votes to affirm.
