Dot and Dan

Did UCO Reporter Editor, Dot Lowenstein, make a Freudian slip in Dan Gladstone’s latest column with the picture caption of: "Evidence of water damage by Mr. Gladstone"?

After all, you don’t need to be a member of Mensa to realize that when you have water cascading from a toilet tank the first priority is to reach for the shut off valve and not the camera!!!

  1. Is Mr Gladstone endorsing any particular ajustor or constuction co.to assess damage or constuction co.to repair condo damage. ? Just wondering, incase our Assoc. has a problem.

  2. It was not a slip Sue. This is an ongoing campaign to scare you into buying another cut-off valve to install next to your cut-off valve. $175 x 7,854 units =$1.3 million fairly makes you salivate doesn't it.
More toilet water cascading pics were in the October UCO Reporter, no-one turned off the under toilet valve.
PS Make sure your under-sink and behind-toilet water valves are in smooth working order.

  3. SHUT-OFF VALVES $175.00....
No one should feel that their insurance will go up if they don't install these valves. Who purchased the valves and at what savings? And who is installing???
Hope you don't have any enemies that might shut your valve off when you are taking a shower. Watch out UCO !!! If you are promoting this are you going to be responsible?
