1st Priority, Jerry Karpf and Dan Gladstone
In the May 2009 issue of the U.C.O. Reporter page 8 Mr. Jerry Karpf gives a glowing report on Mr. Salomon's co.(Salomon Teboul) Mr. Salomon is one of the owners of 1st Priority They operate under the license of Mc Enterprises of South Florida, which is perfectly legal.

-
What isn't legal is. Neither 1st Priority or Mc Enterprises have a plumbing license or electrical license
"Jerry your always harping about checking licensing" What nobody seemed to notice was, neither 1st Priority or Mc Enterprises had workman's compensation insurance, when they first started here in Century Village.
-
Because they did not have compensation insurance they were not pulling permits.
-
Mr. Jerry Karpf, how could you have missed this??? Dan Gladstone went out of his way to steer MILLIONS OF DOLLAR'S - 250 Apts at $20,000 per apt. equals $5,000,000 in work to 1st Priority.
When the complaints started coming in, Mr. Gladstone continued to steer and pressure business Towards 1st Priority.
-
WHY?? "Dan tell us WHY"
-
Not a single word from Mr. Jerry Karpf about the dozen's of complaints WHY!!
-
Starting last June a parade of people were talking to the powers that be at U.C.O. informing them of the difficulty they were having with 1st Priority.
Mr Jerry Karpf head of the maintenance committee held half a dozen meetings where hundreds of presidents of buildings showed up.
-
He never once said a single word about the aggravation that 1st Priority was causing the people of our village.
-
Why?? He never stood up and warned us about 1st Priority WHY?? "Jerry tell us why" I paint Jerry Karpf with the same brush as Dan Gladstone.
-
Dan Gladstone is running for President of U.C.O. Jerry Karpf is running for Vice President of U.C.O.
Do you think either one of them deserve our vote.

ReplyDeleteHopefully, each Association will
review every shred of malfeasance
associated with the particular
Candidates and that their delegate
will cast it's vote,accordingly.
Keep in mind, Mr.Gladstone's position is an APPOINTED ONE, not
ELECTED, and in view of that, the
President should have immediately
suspended his activities, pending
a review...

UCO is thoroughly in the insurance business. My Assoc Proof of Property Insurance reads Insured : United Civic Organization, Inc, 2102 West Dr ...
ReplyDeleteAt every Delegate Mtg Mr Gladstone says, CALL ME, CALL ME. The same is heard in UCO, especially at reception, also in the UCO Reporter. "Call Mr. G".
Has anyone ever heard "Call the Insurance agent at Plastridge". Note there is a Building Assoc Insurance link to Plastridge on this site sidebar.
Prez Loewenstein recently said he changed Mr G's instructions in November (to 3 recommendations), so we know who is in control. I was surprised at that, since 2 months ago at the Dec 16 Insurance Cmte meeting Mr. G was still boosting 1st P and the cmte began to think of changing to 3recommendations. I tried to raise one instance of the 1st Priority pressure tactics that we now know so much about. I was thoroughly shut down (my angry blog about being shut down got me law suit threats). I did not know the problems were so widespread. It is very sad that such issues have to go thru what appears to be a total cover up phase.
Listen to the victims - When there was a water leak Mr. G was there in a flash with 1st Priority, demanding the assoc president sign the contract and the building deductible check, usually $5K, all in the name of UCO.

ReplyDeleteThere are 309 assoc. in century village.
WHO gets the commission check on this multi-million dollar insurance policy???
