WATER VALVES

Regarding your article in the March UCO Reporter about water valves
I would appreciate you stating all the advantages a unit owner will get
for installing a water valve. What is the cost?

    Cost to install the valve next to the water co's valve $195.00

    I called the water company and asked about the rules concerning there water valve's

    there are no penalties if you use there water shut off valve.

    They are not a police agency they do not have the authority to fine people.

    under normal circumstance's the water co would prefer you not use there valve to shut off the water to your apartment (there losing $35)

    Under emergency situation's they would encourage you to do what ever has to be done.
