CALL FOR TALENT AND EXPERIENCE
Hi all,
As you may know, the Bylaws of UCO assign the responsibility of appointing Committee chairs, and indeed populating the committees; to the President of UCO.
It is the intent of my Administration to assign such chairs based on experience and talent.
To start, I herewith call for brief resumes of any unit owner who has practical work experience, and is willing to volunteer, in the following fields:
1) Computer Operations, programming, software design, computer repair, Information Technology.
2) Insurance Operations, Agent, Underwriting, Claims adjustment.
3) Newspaper Operations, Reporter, Investigative Reporter, Business management, Compositing and layout, Fact checking.
4) Television Operations, In front of or behind the camera.
5) Small town Operations and Management; Engineers, Infrastructure, Planning; and government.
6) Receptionist and Customer relations.
7) Background Investigations; Criminal and Credit.
8) Information research.
9) Law and legislation.
10) Grant writing.
11) Law enforcement.
I may have missed some fields, but I think our readers will get the idea. If you have such skills and have some time to volunteer to help run our small city; please step up and be counted.

I added Dave's request to Boomer Blog http://cvboomers.blogspot.com/ Maybe CVCC could post it too. Lots of varied experience coming into the village.
ReplyDeleteHi Dave,
ReplyDeleteI love your idea!
I know someone that really loves reading law and legislation. He writes policy and Bylaws and even knows how to properly and legally amend them as well! He's good with people and has a memory like and elephant. He can adapt quickly to diverse siuations and design procedures and approaches to just about any problem to find an effective solution. He's had almost ten years of hands-on experience in all of the above. He's busy now making a cup of espresso, but I'll ask him if he's intersted in any further volunteer work when he's fully awakens.
By the way, David, could you possibly consider THAT my short resume so I can get back to my work in doing all of the above? Thank's in advance.
Respectfully,
Randall
David:
ReplyDeletePlease take Randy up on his offer.
He fits the plate completely.
