This blog is very user friendly. Once you have signed up, you click Publish Your Comment and voila! Can't get easier than that.
ReplyDeleteThe old Century Village web site was dead, there was no post or any information on it that you asked questions and get answers.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think Norma is referring to is that it is not easy to sign up and get a google account. When I was trying it took me several time before I was able to finally get on. I have heard this from several people here in CV,so they just give up and they just read the comments but cannot comment.
ReplyDeletehave never found it to be complex...all one needed to do,
ReplyDeletewas to make the correct contact..
any "blog adminstrator" could issue
the invitation, which then directs
you as to "How to proceed"
Marilyn, your issue, as stated at the X Bd meeting, had to do with you not being able to POST, you
were able to read other postings.
Bette, what are you talking about? What board meeting? I think you have me mixed up with someone else. I never stated anything at any x boarding meeting. Please enlightened me as to what you are talking about.

ReplyDeleteHi Norma,
ReplyDeleteApr 7, 2010,
There are 58 registered unit owners on the BLOG. However, there are hundreds of readers of our channel.
The reason we went to the requirement to register was that when we had anonymous Posting and Commenting we had some very nasty material appear on the BLOG.
Unlike the old CV Q & A, not a single person has been banned.
It does take a bit of practice to "drive" the BLOG, but after you have practiced a bit it should become second nature.
We welcome you to our CV BLOG.
Dave Israel
The issue of Marilyn P. was raised at the Executive Board meeting; she was sent an invitation but has yet to register.
Hi All,
ReplyDeleteI stand correct, Marilyn P previously mentioned, has indeed registered; welcome Marilyn.
So, we now have 59 registered BLOGGERS.

I have changed my profile and when I comment my name will come up Marilyn B and there should not be anymore confusion
ReplyDeleteSorry Marilyn "B".....your original
ReplyDeletecomment, echoed Marilyn "P"'s
which I referred to......Again,
my apologies...
The Board meeting I referred to
was the monthly Excutive Board.
open to all interested residents,
as well as every other Board and
Committee Meetings, as stated on this blog & inside the Reporter.
Bette, I think this was a good mistake. I think everyone who signs their first name should also put their last initial and this way it will end any confusion.
