CARD ROOM
Do any of you bloggers know the reason why the 2 small rooms in the card
room are locked at all times. A few months ago the 2 rooms were never locked.
In order to play bridge, canasta, etc....I have to go to WPRF office where you
buy tickets and ask for the key for Room A and I have to leave my CV ID pass
with them and when I return the key they return my ID to me. It is very
annoying to all who like to play in Room A.

Hi Nut,
ReplyDeleteSounds like a question for Anita Cruz.
However, it is standard practice to sign out keys, and leave your ID to assure return of the key.

They were never locked in the past. I think they are now locked because people have been found eating in those rooms.
ReplyDeleteJust last week I saw two women having their lunch at one of the card tables. When I said something about the rules and the possibility of attracting bugs they completely ignored me.
No one wants to be a tattle tale but I was temped to alert security.
Th is indeed a question for Anita Cruz.
ReplyDeleteAs I recall this subject came up at a recent Operations committee meeting and it was indeed that with the door closed some folks seemed to think the rules did not apply to them.
Buy all means take this question and any other that you have relative to the clubhouses to Anita.
