REMOTE CONTROL TRAINING CLASSES

In the past week we held two training classes for folks who were having trouble with the Comcast remote control device, and hopefully now are not having trouble.

The attendees told our exit pollsters that they were satisfied and had been helped.
Watch future REPORTER issues and channel 63 for the dates of future classes.

The classes were and will be very small so hands on training can be accomplished.
Call me at the UCO office if you have questions.

  1. Having these smaller classes, I think is a great idea, Bob. I am glad you and Dave Israel have implemented them.

I put a notice up on our bulletin board about the two classes this past week, but I think no one from our association went. I hope you will continue offering the classes from time to time, though, for these things take time to catch on. Yes, good to have on channel 63, but also good (as you intend) to have in the UCO Reporter.

I think the Reporter piece should not only announce upcoming classes, but also say how past classes have helped people. Perhaps someone so helped could write a short Mailbag "Letter to Editor" about this. Continued advertising in this way and continuing to hold classes from time to time should (1) generate interest, (2) help those who need help (I am sure there are plenty), and (3) be a counter to some of the badmouthing of the new cable-TV contract.

WE ALL OWE YOU THANKS, Bob, for stepping into the breach in handling the cable-TV stuff, which Dave had been doing.

  2. Lanny, thanks for the kind words. The sessions that were scheduled were helpful to the attendees or that is what they told us!

We learned from these sessions and a new schedule will be posted shortly.

Watch this blog the next issue of THE REPORTER and channel 63.
