Hi all,
Honey Sager Posted the following in the ProActive Committee BLOG:

new information

The Pro-Active Committee in junction with UCO contracted with a Land Use Attorney to represent us in our opposition to the proposed housing development on the adjoining golf course property. He is currently reviewing the documents submitted to the County by the developer and also all historical data concerning the golf course. He will be making recommendations as to our plan of action. Further information will be forthcoming soon.

  1. My understanding from the vote of the delegates was $25,000 to get a lawyer's opinion as to whether we had a case NOT to hire a lawyer to come up with a plan of action. Are we now going to be saddled with hundreds of thousands of dollars for a lawyer? that is what it will cost to fight. UCO does not have that kind of money, nor should we pay for a big fight. I say forget the delegates voting money and have all the unit oweners vote. There are many who don't want to pay a dime for this fight. The Pro Active Committee should contact the group who is fighting Mizner and find out what it has cost them so far and they have not won. the developer just keeps going back and changing his plans and every time they go to court more lawyer money. I don't what that for us.

  2. Proactive committee, you all are beating a dead horse,if you all want to keep fighting let it come out of your money not at the rest of us here in the village.
