Revolt By Clubhouse Pool People Likely.
Resentment of Snowbirds not having to endure the Clubhouse Pool closure is at a boiling point . Poolers were heard saying WPRF & UCO officials should be carted off to Duck Island and placed in stocks, for a week or so. Other Poolers were planning simultaneous Marches on UCO and WPRF to stone officials. If it wasn't for the cool head of Marvin G, Poolers would have been in marauding bands looking for officials today. I tell ya folks, there's trouble in River City .

I think that some people just don't have enough in their lives and love to complain instead of being very grateful for all that we have. So the pool will be closed for a while, repairs that are needed. There are enough pools in the village and without the snowbirds here are just waiting for people to come and use them.
ReplyDeleteWe have many other pools to use. Just as Grace said. These repairs are absolutely necessary. The only question I do have is, Can we bring our Guest(including children) then to any pool? Of course, only when the clubhouse is closed. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Mike,
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should consult the high priestess of Wiccanry for a solution from the Celestial Sphere!

Hi Dave,
ReplyDeleteSplendid idea! You once again have assured me, my vote for you was not wasted.
Mike
Wasn't once enough to 'discuss' this! see Sunday, June 5, 2011, Clubhouse Outdoor Pools.
ReplyDeleteBarbara you know WPRF and our Operations cmte will make a decision and then you can do a petition and they will change it.
Etc, etc ...
Mike, you are funnyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara C,
ReplyDeleteJune 12, 2011 9:32 AM,
I have comfirmed with WPRF, that all WPRF pools are guest friendly, save the Residents pool which will be closed anyway.
As for children; subject to restrictions posted at each pool.

Hi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteI did not see where the pools that are open covered guest, especially children. All pools that are wprf do NOT allow children, only the guest pool. But, yes you're right
operations will make that determination where the children can go. As far as petitions, they are not mine but the people letting uco know how they feel.
Hi millwp,
ReplyDeleteLaughter is the best medicine and it seems, to few have a sense of humor in this village. Glad you enjoy my feeble attempts at levity.
Mike
I have a medical companion Llama (RX by my doctor). Will I be allowed to bring "Sparky" to another pool?
ReplyDeleteMike:
ReplyDeleteWill the "Offender's" be FED
& WATERED?"..side to Elaine,
Petitions become NECESSARY,
when the majority of the
Operation's Committee,in
their WISDOM,make judgement
calls, that are NOT in the BEST INTEREST OF OUR
COMMUNITY..I do find it odd
that once it becomes known
that a Petition is on the
table, the same individuals
reverse their position..
Hi Bettie, Only if they have long tongues to reach the food and water on the ground below them.
ReplyDeleteHi Bettie, I did not say petitions were unnecessary. Attendance at meetings and common sense have answered the questions already. Apologies to Mike for being serious on his comedy channel.
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine ,
ReplyDeleteA little passive aggressive today, are we?????? : )
Why doesn't Comcast have a knitting channel?
