We had trouble at the Hastings Club House again tonight. It is really not right what is going on here. The card room still has no ac going. The guard and workers down stairs had it very nice and cool for them self's again. We asked if we could bring some tables and chairs down stairs like we did when the main club house was closed when the hurricane hit it. They said no we could not. This really is bad, they turned away about sixteen of us to do what we asked. The guard said to call Anita P what good did that do us a big zero! I do not think this is right that the ac is out for the lenth of time. We need help to correct this!! We are paying for the use of the Club house to enjoy but we are getting the shaft. All I can say is I am not very happy with this ! Does Anita P. know what happenig here I guess not. Can this be address and takin care of HELP

How many times have the 16 card players phoned Anita Pearce about this problem?? She is PAID to solve these matters. Several phone calls from your group would be more effective than hoping a blogger will help. Sorry to enlighten you and 'concerned' - there is no team of people at the Blog waiting to do your bidding. If you get an answer, it is because of the goodwill of a very few who do write. My last 2 questions were not answered, the people who could - do not read the blog. THANK Dave for making the phone call for you and following it down the line. He and BobM are working triple time at UCO with 3 VPs missing, give the guy a break.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you ignored the guard's advice and no-one ever phoned or went thru channels. Why don't you card players phone the Clubhouse (its still the usual number) and ask the 2nd in-command WHEN the problem will be fixed, then you don't need to go to play and be disappointed. You could even ask about taking chairs downstairs!
ReplyDeleteI can only speak for my self what I have done. I went to speak to Anita and they say she was busy so the other one of her office workers directed me to the head of maintenance. This was at the main club house where the same problem was happening there. He gave me a lame reason to sit at the far end of the room because it was cooler there. what kind of nonesense is that. The room at times is just fine no matter where you sit. Now the same is happenig at Hastings.Yes Elaine I am hoping that something can be done by using the blog Because I thought this was one of the purposes of the blog. I am only one voice that is trying to correct the problem. I thank Dave for his input! It would be nice or proper bussiness to correct this by the W.P.R.F.
