RUMOR CONTROL - CALL FOR INFORMATION
Hi all,
What I am going to write is so absurd as to defy belief, and I sincerely hope it is untrue.
-
I have heard from multiple sources, that a few malcontents are soliciting Associations to contribute money to finance a law suit against UCO!!
-
Can anyone reading this confirm or deny this incredible story, if true, have the instigators really thought through the consequences of suing yourselves!!
-
THINK folks, you might find it to be a refreshing experience.

Dave my oral surgeon would not be at all surprised.
ReplyDelete(Ouch! recently) While he had my mouth disabled, my oral surgeon told me EXACTLY what he thinks of assisted living and elder communities, and CV - Some people there sit around at dinner and at the pool with nothing else to do but gossip and spread misinformation, and how you can make money by suing anyone you know (including Dr's). Those communities are the main source of misguided lawsuits. The expenses are encouraged by lawyers etc.
He had a good point, I did not know FL elders were so notorious.
What can be done about people who contribute nothing and do not volunteer, but lurk on the fringes waiting for a chance to sue. It is very destructive to our individual associations when one of these grandstanding, perpetually aggrieved people sues the hard working Board. Is it a medical condition? Do all villages have village idiots?
Looks like a bunch of village idiots to me. An awful thing to do if this is not a rumor.
ReplyDeleteHas any one ever seen the film "King Of Hearts" it is set in a small Italian village during WW ll the village has been evacuated because a battle is looming.. everyone has been evacuated from the village, that is except the insane asylum, well the inmates break out because there is no staff left these poor folks(the inmates) break out and take over all the jobs in the village the mayor, police chief, the cobbler etc sounds like that's happened here... Here unable to take over all the jobe the rest of the insane sit around and plot bizarre kooky schemes.. I for one would burn my money before I support funding a law suite against UCO ..but not to worry who would fund it, ever hear our residents complaining about the ten buck price for a CV show
ReplyDeleteYes! "King of Hearts" is an apt comparison for what's going on here, Lenny. I join you in saying I'd burn my money before I'd support a lawsuit against UCO. Good people are trying to do their best. No one's perfect, but UCO officers have brains in their heads, which is more than I can say about anyone whose sole purpose is to attack, assault and defame volunteer officials who have proven their credentials and commitment to this community.
